Hi friends! Oh my gosh, I feel like every month is moving faster & faster! It took me a second to actually go back and see what I did this month to remember what my favourites of the month are.
I really leaned into the coziness this month & my favourites really reflected that, from my evening tea ritual to new cozy sweaters. So without further adieu, let’s get into my October favourites.
Aerie Striped Sweater – This is my current favourite sweater this season. Maybe it’s just me but every year I end up with 1 sweater that is undeniably my favourite. This one is a bit oversized and oh so cozy and soft. P.S. it is on sale right now!
Homemade Alfredo – If you follow me on Instagram this will come as no surprise to you. I made this a couple times throughout the month and it is my favourite meal right now. It is so quick and easy. I’ve linked a video that how how I make it, so easy that now I just “measure with my heart.”
Lily’s Chocolate – This month I really tried to be more aware of my sugar consumption on a day-to-day basis. One of the ways that I did this was by seeing where I could find alternatives with less sugar. I have had Lily’s chocolate in the past and this month I was really loving them. My current favourites are the chocolate Extra Dark Chocolate Sea Salt and the Salted Almond Milk Chocolate. But I can see that they make a white chocolate peppermint bar and if I can’t order it to Canada I may have to ask someone very nicely to bring one up for me.
Teardrop earrings – These super affordable Amazon earrings have been another fashion favourite of mine this month. I feel like they are the perfect touch to spice up any simple look and I love how lightweight these ones are.
Nature Bee Dish Soap – I’ll be honest I was really skeptical to try this product out, but I love everything I have from Nature Bee so I thought I would give it a shot and it has really pleasantly surprised me. This powder-to-gel dish soap is a new staple in our household. I’m not sure if you’re supposed to do this, but I mix it right in my soap dispenser and it saves me from having tons of plastic containers to rinse and recycle. At first, it seemed really liquidy but after giving it time to settle it turned into the perfect gel & smells delicious! You can use my code CASSIDY10 to get 10% off your purchase!
