recent empties

Hi friends and welcome to the first empties post of 2024! If I’m being honest, a lot of these products were things that I finished in 2023, I just ran out of time to get this post ready so don’t be surprised if you see part 2 very soon, there have been a lot of empties since my last empties post.

If you are new around here, I’ve designed these posts to share products that I have finished up as a fun way of putting a review out once I have fully finished a product and also to encourage me to use up the products I already have before opening anything new. Some products in these posts may have been gifted to me, but these posts are never sponsored and all thoughts are 100% my own!

So, what do you say we get into it?

Native Coconut & Vanilla Deodorant – If you have been following along with these empties posts for a while now you would have seen me go through a lot of these over the years. While I do still like the product, they are outrageously expensive in Canada & I feel like there is very minimal product (I go through them very quickly) so I do want to try some different aluminum-free deodorants.

Laneige Vanilla Lip Sleeping Mask – I feel like it doesn’t even need to be said that these are incredible. I truly think I use my lip-sleeping mask every night before bed. I have a different flavour on the go right now but I think Vanilla is my favourite of what I’ve tried so far. Next, I do want to try the version in the tube instead because it seems like it would be great for an easier application.

Essie Gel Couture (Fairy Tailor, Inside Scoop, Sheer Fantasy) – This is the only nail polish I have been using for years now. As you can see I am a pale pink kind of girl, while I do like all these colours, currently Inside Scoop is my go-to.

Sol De Janeiro Rio Deodorant – As I mentioned I have been embarking on a journey to find a new deodorant and I am really liking this one! First of all the fact that you can buy inserts and don’t throw away as much plastic is amazing and I love the smell of it. From what I can tell it is working really well so far.

Glow Jar Beauty Radiance Serum – Glow Jar beauty products are always so lovely and this is no exception. I have to be honest this is a product I finished a really long time ago so I can’t give the best review of it but I just love the simplicity of this entire brand I find that the products always apply really well with other products.

Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch (Micropoint) – These are an absolute essential for me. I unfortunately have not found them available in Canada yet but every time I’m in the States I pick up a few boxes because they are so great. They are definitely more expensive than a typical pimple patch but I find they are great for catching a pimple right away and preventing it from getting really big.

Saje Lavender Relaxing Mist – This is the most lovely addition to my bedtime routine. It is so relaxing and I simply love it. I did try out another relaxing mist after finishing this one and I have decided that I will be returning to the Lavender when I use up what I have.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads – I simply love First Aid Beauty, and this is definitely one of my top three favourites of there’s. I find that these help so much with the texture of my skin and I find it helps my skin stay glowy. I love having these on hand.

Ilia Mascara – This has been my favourite mascara for about a year now. It lasts so long, it is buildable, doesn’t clump and doesn’t flake. I immediately had a replacement when I ran out of this and I don’t see myself switching it up anytime soon.

Glow Jar Beauty Gentle Gel Cleanser – This is such a lovely cleanser. I love that it is unscented and gentle but still does a great job removing mascara. Definitely one of my favourite moisturizers I’ve tried.

Three Ships Firm Believer Cream – Three Ships is another company that I love everything they create. While I did really like this moisturizer, they have another one that I like even more so this isn’t a product that I restocked.

Three Ships Calm Lavender Hydrosol Toner – This is another essential for me (like I seriously have three of them right now). I use it every night and it is not only so relaxing but when I use it my skin is so glowy when I wake up.

Annemarie Borlind 2-Phasen Hyalunron-Shake – This might be the most lovely hyaluronic acid I have ever used. It went on so smoothly and left my skin so glowy. The very light calm smell was a lovely touch too. This is absolutely a product I would repurchase.

Well, that is the first batch of recent empties that I have for you! If you have tried any of these products I would love to know your thoughts in the comments. Until next time!

XO Cassidy Hannah
