GLUTEN FREE SNACK ROUND UP

Hey there!!

As many of you know 14+ years ago I was diagnosed with celiac disease, so I’ve had a lot of time to test out a variety of snacks and pick some favourites. I know a lot of my followers on instagram also don’t eat gluten and I’ve had a number of requests lately to share more of my favourite snacks, so here we go!

BARS:

KIND – I’ve been a fan of kind bars for so long, I love that they are all gluten free. My current favourites are the Simple Crunch Oats & Honey bars (these seem like the Nature’s Path ones that I was always so sad that I couldn’t have & the Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt bars.

MadeGood – Another company I absolutely love for making all gluten free products. I always buy the Chocolate Chip Granola Bar, they sell them in big boxes at my Costco and it makes them so affordable. I really like the Sweet and Salty Granola Bar too! Their snacks also have a full serving of veggies in them too which is a huge win 🙌🏼 I also love that they are made in Canada.

RX Bar – I was so unsure about these at first but I love them. The ingredients are so simple and clean and I have yet to try a flavour I don’t like.

COOKIES:

WOW Baking – if you’ve been falling around for a while you will know that I absolutely LOVE WOW cookies & have for years and years now (they were founded shortly after I was diagnosed with celiac disease & my mum would always buy them for my brother and I on special occasions). Every single flavour is so good and they are always a go-to recommendation for me. I would say my current favourite flavour is the Lemon Burst.

Goodie Girl – I found the Fudge Striped Cookies during quarantine and absolutely fell in love with them (I have multiple boxes in my pantry as we speak). I definitely want to try some of their other flavours so if you have a favourite be sure to let me know.

Kinnikinnick Kinni Kritters – I also always keep a box of these in the pantry. They are the perfect treat to feel like a little kid again!

OTHER:

Lance Gluten Free Peanut Butter Crackers – Y’all let me tell you I actually squealed when I found these at target and they are better than I ever could have imagined. I find that they are out of stock more often than not, but when I find them I STOCK UP.

I’m a big popcorn gal so I love to keep a bag in my pantry. Skinnypop & Boomchickapop are always my go to’s! I love the light kettle boomchickapop (but I just found out they have rosé flavoured so I NEED to try that next). I usually just have the original skinnypop but their sweet & salty is also delicious.

SmartSweets Sweet Fish – gummies I can eat the whole bag of without feeling guilty? YES PLEASE. Also LOVE that they are a Canadian brand.

Snyders Pretzel Sticks – I’m not a big pretzel person but these ones always amaze me with how good they are. The first time I tried them I was worried they weren’t actually gluten free because they are that good.

I also love to make my own trail mix, and sometimes if I want to make it a little extra fancy I will throw in some SkinnyDipped Almonds, another staple that I usually keep at least a bag of in the pantry. I also love Sahale Snacks for another nutty option, the Maple Pecan Glazed Mix is my favourite.

That is all I have for you today – of course there are lots of other snacks I eat all the time, but I love these companies for the number of gluten free options they have.

I have lots of other gluten free brands that I love (but don’t fit into the snacks category) so expect another gluten-free round-up coming to you shortly!

Be sure to let me know what your favourite gluten-free snacks are.

XO Cassidy Hannah
