Hi Friends!!

If you have been following along on instagram the past month & a half you would have seen the #LoveLocalFriday posts I have been working on every week. Every Friday I am sharing a BC brand that I am loving and it has been so much fun!

I’ve decided that because it can be easy to miss the occasional instagram post that I would do occasional round up posts on here so that you can see all the great BC brands I have been finding. If you are local to British Columbia or plan to make a trip here at some point you’ll have an easy place to find tons of great businesses to check out.

HELLO & welcome to the very first #LoveLocalFriday 💘 Of course we had to start off with my favourite thing ☕️. I’m really excited to be sharing @pioneergourmetcoffee today. They are located in Kelowna, BC and pride themselves on carrying on the 4th generation Italian roasting techniques passed down from the Cicchelli family. They’re also passionate about giving back to their community and are often supporting local organizations. I’ve been drinking (and loving) the O’Keefe Special Dark Roast. I always love a nutty roast & dark roast is a must for me. hey there!! happy Friday 💛 This week I’m really excited to be sharing @supercrush for this weeks #LoveLocalFriday Located in Vancouver BC, supercrush started as a mother daughter duo & they have since grown to a team of 12 incredible women!! Not only do they make the best scrunchies I’ve ever worn, they also partner with other Vancouver companies to give back to their community. I’m wearing the Rose Velvet scrunchie here & I have a pearl satin skinny scrunchie too – both incredible quality and actually keep my hair in the pony/bun! They also always have the cutest fall launches so I will definitely be keeping my eyes out for those 😍

Hi friends & happy Friday!! For todays #LoveLocalFriday I’m sharing another yummy treat with you 😍 @the_munchlife makes 100% natural nut butters that are fair trade and have vegan, keto & paleo friendly options! I’ve been trying out their Tropical Nut Butter & the Vanilla Latte Almond Butter and they are both delicious 🤤 My personal favourite way to eat them is on an apple as a snack but I have tired a couple other fun things lately too! First, I used the Tropical Nut Butter to Make a yummy granola, here’s the recipe I used: 2 cups oats 1/2 cup slivered almonds 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon 2 tablespoons nut butter 2 tablespoons honey 2 tablespoons sunflower oil Bake @400 for 10 minutes, flip partway if it begins burning. I also put a little drizzle of the Vanilla Latte Almond Butter on a little yogurt parfait I made recently! (It was also delicious topped on the banana bread I made last week) All around a yummy time!
