Hi Friends!! I am SO excited to be sharing this post with you today. For a little refresher, if you are new around here, I moved out on my own for the first time in June & as someone who is super passionate about home decor and has been since I was about nine years old have had so much fun decorating my place. With that being said, I have been dreaming about holiday decor since the day I moved in, in June.
Well, the time has arrived, I have decorated my home and today I’m going to be sharing everything with you!

First up, we have my little Christmas Village set up. I’m really excited about this, because I’ve been shopping local for all these pieces. For those also local to Victoria, I went to Fan Tan Home & Style and Nook & Nest Homewares (which can both be shopped online as well) and they were both SO dreamy.

On the same shelving unit as my Christmas village I just have a little set up with a poinsettia and a couple candles, I love this shelf because it brings a couple more pops of red to my living room!

Another item on my shelf that I recently picked up is this gorgeous candle holder from Hudson’s Bay which you can shop here. I like that it’s a bit larger than a standard candle holder (for reference it fits a bath and body works 3 wick candle inside it). Also because of the cut outs it has it creates the most gorgeous glow at night time.
I was really excited about this piece because I think it can be styled different ways so that it can be used year round.
I currently just have it sitting on my Christmas colouring book on my shelf.

This is super easy little DIY I have been doing for years now! Just take a mason jar, some mini red ornaments and fairy lights. If you have a tray to lay it all out on, that looks super cute and if not I always put everything inside the mason jar and stick it on a shelf.

I added a couple more pops of festivity to my coffee table too. I switched out my standard blue table runner for a red one, added my festive candles and some candy canes in a snowflake bowl from Crate and Barrel. Unfortunately it looks like this set of bowls isn’t available anymore but homesense or home goods always has a great selection of festive bowls.
And finally, the piece that brought the whole room together, THE CHRISTMAS TREE!
I know it might sound silly, but this Christmas tree brings me SO much joy I cannot put it into words. All of my orniments were picked up at Canadian Tire and are all the Canvas Holiday brand. I love the simplicity of this tree and the fun little stars, everything about it is so me. So without further ado…

I have started wrapping some gifts already for some more fun pops of red and this is how I’m wrapping them this year! I love how simple and classic they look.
I want to thank you all for taking the time to read this post, I was so excited to put it together for you! I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season, despite things looking different for everyone this year.
Sending lots of love and joy your way!
XO Cassidy Hannah
Omgosh your shelves are gorg on their own! I love the pops of color you scattered around. I’m sure the view is happy one! This year I decided to go out of my comfort zone and get your standard green tree over my usual white one. But I’m feeling like the gold bits got lost in the tree! It still came out really nice, but I’m not IN LOVE with it this year which bums me out. Maybe it just has to grow on me?

Oh my gosh thank you SO much for your kind words!! I have always had a real tree so I’m used to the green, but I could completely understand it taking time to grow on you. I hope you end up loving it!! ❤️❤️
