Hello friends, today is very exciting because I’m doing an Ulta haul. If you have been around here for a LONG (I’m talking pre-covid) time then you would know about my LOVE for Ulta.
As someone who lives in Canada, Ulta is always one of the stops I make when I visit the states so I’ve been missing my visits for quite some time now. But alas, I made my first trip to Seattle in nearly two years and of course went and picked up some goodies.
A lot of these products are actually restocks for me, I have noted them all below, but I of course needed to try some new goodies too. I decided to wait until I’ve used the products to post this so I can give a bit of a review at the same time.
Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish and Top Coat Kit – This might be the product I’m most excited about. It is the only nail polish I’ve used for about a month and a half now and this will likely be the only type of nail polish that I use going forward. It doesn’t chip but I love how easy the application and removal process are!
Loreal Infallible Full Wear Waterproof Concealer – I’ll start off by saying that I don’t think the shade I purchased is quite right for me. I found that when I applied the product it seemed pretty thick and cakey (which is fair considering its full wear and waterproof) but I was really pleasantly surprised that not only does it settle into my skin really nicely it also lasts a long time. This might be one of the only makeup products I’ve ever used that actually keeps looking better as the day goes by.
Loreal True Match Eye Cream In a Concealer – This concealer, like the previous, settles in so nicely. For myself personally due to colour matching I find that it looks better if I have some kind of tinted base on my skin first, but regardless it REALLY helps with dark circles.
Silk Touch-Up Facial Razor – These were a repurchase for me. I don’t use them all that often however I do think they help with a really smooth makeup application. The price point is also hard to beat!
Klorane Non-Aerosol Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk – I think this might be my new go-to dry shampoo. I really hate how most dry shampoos have propane in them and was looking for something without it. It does a great job making my hair look less greasy and I haven’t had any problems with it making my hair look white. The packaging was a bit of an adjustment at first but turned out to be so easy!
Pacifica Vegan Silk Blow-Out Hair Primer and Protectant – Based on how long I’ve used this for I can’t really comment on how well it protects my hair, however, I do enjoy this product. I really like that it has a liquidy texture because it makes it much easier to apply to dry hair (however I would LOVE if it were a spray). I also l like that this product has a minimal fragrance to it. There were certain things I was looking to avoid in the ingredients of a heat protector and this one met that at a great price point.
Tula Super Soothe Calming Moisturizing Lotion – Y’all know by now this is my ride or die. I’ve been using this moisturizer for over 2 years now and I couldn’t be happier with it. I’m truly such a fan of Tula products and this one is probably my favourite. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all and is the only thing I will use if my skin is having a breakout.
Good Molecules Ulta-Hydrating Facial Oil – This is another product you’ve probably heard me talk about on here before. After using this at night my skin looks so glowy and moisturized in the morning. I also feel like using this regularly has helped with scarring on my face. The bottle is pretty tiny, but a little goes a long way and it’s a great price.
Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum – This is my go-to hyaluronic acid product. Not only is it a great price, it’s the only one I’ve found that doesn’t make my skin feel sticky afterwards. It also doesn’t pill at all when I apply makeup on top of it. Definitely another product I will continue to keep stocked in my skincare drawer.
Those were all my pickups during my last Ulta haul. I was so so impressed with everything and loved getting to share all of these with you. If you have any questions about the products feel free to reach out anytime, and if you wanted to pick them up you can shop them all here.
As always let me know if you’ve tried something you love that you think I should try out too!
XO Cassidy Hannah
I haven’t posted a makeup haul in awhile! I should bring these back in 2022, I love reading them. It totally helps put products on your radar you probably had no idea about!

Hi Hazel, thank you so much for your feedback! I’m glad you enjoy reading them. I don’t write them very often but I often write “empties” posts. I’ll be posting more of these in the coming year though!
