recent empties

Hi friends!

If you have been following along for a while you know the past few years I’ve really been prioritizing using up what I have for skincare & beauty products. A few years back I started posting my “recent empties” to share products I had recently finished, plus it made a fun way of reviewing everything that I had tried.

Every few months I post a recent roundup and share my thoughts on things I’m loving or things that just weren’t for me. So, let’s get into the goodies!

Clarins Double Serum Eye Cream – I will start off by saying that I don’t think I used this consistently enough to notice a difference. My primary eye concern is dark circles and I can’t say that this made a big enough difference for me to justify the price. I feel lucky to have gotten to try it and I have heard people say wonderful things about it, but I don’t see myself repurchasing this for the foreseeable future.

Glow Jar Beauty Dewy Moisture Mist – This is not my first bottle of this I’ve gone through and it certainly won’t be the last. I truly notice that my skin looks more glowy when I incorporate this into my routine and I absolutely love that it comes in a glass bottle, it feels so luxurious. Plus if you’re a regular around here you know I absolutely love Glow Jar Beauty as a company 💗

Glow Jar Beauty Moisturizing Face Cream – Another favourite of mine, this face cream is thick and really moisturizes without feeling like it clogs my pores. This is absolutely a product I will use again in the future.

Versed Skin Soak Rich Moisture Cream – I also really love this moisturizer, the price point on this one is great, it felt amazing on my skin, and is also non-clogging. I will use this again in the future as well!

Native Coconut & Vanilla Deodorant – This is my everyday go-to favourite deodorant. I’ll be honest it is definitely an adjustment switching to an aluminum-free natural deodorant but I am so happy I did, plus I love how this one smells!

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Adaptogens, and Coconut Water – This is another favourite that I will continue to purchase time and time again. Not only is it a perfect affordable option for a quick mist after applying makeup, I really like it to just give myself a bit of a refresh throughout the day too!

Glow Jar Beauty AM Vitamin C Serum – This mightttt be my favourite Glow Jar Beauty product of them all (it is really putting the body oil to the test). The results I noticed from using this daily were really incredible. My skin felt glowier, I noticed a decrease in acne scaring and overall my skin looked more clear. I recommend this to all of my friends and will absolutely be purchasing another one of these when I use up the other Vitamin C serums I currently have on the go.

Mighty Patch Micropoint for Blemishes – These are truly a lifesaver. I am always a big fan of pimple patches and will often purchase the cheap tea tree oil patches to use to just avoid touching my face, however, when I can see a pimple really starting to try and push through these can really save the day. There have been times when I have truly seen a pimple I thought was going to be awful fully disappear overnight. I always keep a box of these on hand and travel with them too!

Olaplex Bonding Oil – At first I was really shocked by the price of this hair oil for such a small bottle, but I was really impressed how long it lasted me. While I don’t think it did anything shocking to change my hair, I really liked using it after styling my hair for some added shine and smoothing. I will purchase this again!

Tula The Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser – I’m a Tula lover, but this product is just not for me. I find the scent so strong that it feels like it leaves a soapy taste in my mouth. It feels nice on my skin and I know a lot of people who love it, but this won’t be a product I repurchase.

Well those are all the products that I have used up lately. If you want to check out the products I have linked them here. If you have tried any of them I would love to hear your thoughts on them!

XO Cassidy Hannah
