I recently flew into Miami for the first time, on my way to Fort Lauderdale and got the chance to spend my entire day here! Today I’m going to share with you how I spent my day.
The beach was a very important stop for me, particularly South Beach, as it’s been a place I’ve been obsessing over since I discovered Pinterest. Between the amazing architecture (cute hotels) and the incredible beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, something I’d yet to experience, it was the perfect place for me. Coming to south beach in the morning was amazing because we could wander before we roasted and then take a dip in the ocean to cool off afterwards.

Another amazing experience that was super fun and showed me a completely different side of Miami was the Fiesta Cruise we took of the celebrity homes. It gave a completely new view of the city and it was also really fun seeing some incredible homes. Our tour guide Wezz was super fun, there was great music throughout the entire 90 minute cruise, a free drink and other snacks avalible for purchase on board.
This boat ride leaves from Bayside Marina, which is another fun area you should definitley walk around. There is tons of shopping, and while being outdoors it is covered, so the perfect place to spend the rainy hours of the day.
📍Shakira’s House
The final must see place I visited during my day in Miami was the neighbourhood of Wynwood. Wynwood is a really fun art district in Miami that has amazing murals, and even a free museum of art that you can walk around in. There’s many fun restaurants and shops in the area and it makes the perfect evening adventure.
