Incase you don’t know this about me by now I’m a HUGE subscription box fan – I love getting mail and makeup and skincare goodies are the absolute best! Today I am going to share with you all the subscription boxes I’ve tried out in the last few months and let you know what I liked best!
First I love how cute the boxes always are for this subscription box, I will definitely be saving it to store stuff in!
For the price of $10 I received a sample of shampoo and conditioner, makeup wipes (10 mini), a mini eyeliner, a silicone makeup applicator and a combo moisturizer/ makeup primer.
The products were not large by any means but I wasn’t disappointed by their size in anyway. Everything but the conditioner was a product that would get multiple uses some of them will likely last me a long time.
In terms of the products themselves, none of the jumped out at me as products I had been hoping to try, but they’re all things I definitely expect to get use out of.
All in all, I thought Birchbox did a good job with this months box, and while its not something I plan on getting regularly, it is a nice treat to get!

June and July IPSY:
IPSY is another great $10 makeup subscription, which I particularly love because of their creative idea to send the products in a makeup bag which is super handy to have! I’ve now had IPSY for 2 months and so far am impressed.
In June I received, a mini toner, a primer, nail polish, a makeup brush and 2 sheet masks.
In July I received a illuminator, a eyeliner, a eyeshadow brush, an eye shadow and 2 more facemaks.
Both of these bags stood out to me as being a great bang for your buck! I think getting 3 makeup products (2 mini, 1 fullsize) a eyeshadow brush, 2 sheet masks and a little bag is a great combination. I have been pleasently surprised by how much I look forward to using these products and most of them have been great matches for me!
So far I have found IPSY to be a more usable subscription box than Birchbox and might even keep getting it!

This subscription box never fails! With Facetory you can choose to get either 4 or 7 masks monthly, the subscription starts as little as $5.06 monthly and always contains amazing masks.
I’m always so bad at branching out to new sheet mask brands so having them chosen for me and delivered right to my door is perfect! To try Facetory yourself and get up for 4 free masks use my referral link!
May Sephora Play:
This might have been my favourite Makeup subscription so far! This $10 bag came with 6 products there were all great sizes as well as 50 points to redeem in store during your next Sephora visit.
I received a primer, mud mask, hair cream, lotion, mascara and perfume, these products were mostly travel size with only 2 minis! I was very impressed with the size of these products and LOVED all the products I received. I only had this box for one month, so I can’t vouch for its consistency at being good, but the one time I got it I was very impressed.
FabFitFun Editor’s Box:
This box was truly one of the best things I’ve ever recieved in the mail, granted you definitely pay for it. At the price of $49.99 you receive many amazing products, all at full size. In this box I received:
-16 oz Mug
– Leather Clutch
– Briogeo hair repair cream
– Kate Summerville Exfolikate
– Tarte Shadow Palate
– Free People sleep mask
– Spongelle body soap
– Box of 4 bath bombs
I absolutely love all the products I received in this box, and found the box to be valued at around $300!! While its certainly not a subscription I could afford on a regular basis I think it is absolutely amazing and would make a wonderful birthday present to myself!
