Hey there! I got a request recently to make a morning routine and I thought it might be fun to share how I’m spending my mornings in Quarantine.
Because I moved back to Victoria last week, I’m currently in isolation for 14 days. No seeing anyone and no leaving the house (even for walks unfortunately) so my routine is looking a bit different than it might usually, but I figured it might be fun to share none the less. So here we go…
WAKE UP – because I have absolutely 0 plans at the moment I have not been setting alarm and am instead just waking up naturally. Granted for me this has still been around 7am for me most days.
I like to try and make the bed first thing in the morning & then will walk around the house and open all the blinds to let the gorgeous morning light in. At this time I will also take my vitamins, I’m currently taking allergy medication & vitamin D on a daily basis.
WORKOUT – even though I’m not allowed to leave currently I’ve been trying to still get some kind of workout in on a daily basis, if anything I will at least do my daily ab challenge but this morning I also did Karissa Nichole’s Low Impact Full Body Workout, which I loved because it is so apartment friendly.
SHOWER & SKINCARE – I’ve been keeping things pretty simple for morning skincare. In the shower I will just rinse my face with warm water. Then I have been using the Dr. Dennis Gross Extra Strength Daily Peel, I’ve used this before and love it, it really helps with brightening and evening complexion. After I use the treatment I will go in with my Tula Super Soothe Calming Moisturizing Lotion and my Dr. Dennis Gross B³Adaptive SuperFoods Stress SOS Eye Cream.

COFFEE & BREAKFAST – since moving I started using my Breville espresso maker and let me tell you I LOVE IT. I’ve been starting my days with Vanilla Lattes using the Nu Naturals sugar free vanilla syrup and YUM.
As for breakfast I switch it up everyday but it usually involves eggs & toast. Let me know if you would be interested in a What I Eat In A Day post, I’d love to make that for y’all.
One thing I’ve really been loving about quarantine is taking things slow. I’m notorious for trying to multitask everything, but I’ve been really intentional about sitting and enjoying my coffee & breakfast in the morning.
After breakfast I usually tidy up the kitchen & then get started with the rest of my day. This can be anything from responding to emails, taking photos for instagram or working on homework.
