As school comes back in full force, I like to start up a more minimal daily routine. Today I am going to share my essential products for getting ready super quickly in the morning and getting un-done super quickly at night.
Morning Skincare:
I like to start off my day with a simple micellar water. I’ve been trying the No7 Micellar Water out for the past few weeks and am really liking it so far. I will note however that this one isn’t fragrance free, which came as a bit of a shock to me.
Following micellar water, I love using a rose water. The Trader Joes rose water is personally my favourite, as I find that it is the most hydrating on my skin.
The Makeup:
The first makeup product I use in the morning is the Benefit Brightening Concealer I find that this always does an amazing job hiding dark circles, and lasts all day.
Following that I will go in with Benefit’s Industrial Strength Concealer for any areas that are bothering me.
To add a little colour to my face I will use the Butter Bronzer by Physicians Formula, which I absolutely love not only for its amazing smell but also for giving such a natural glow.
The last makeup product I use is a new favourite of mine. Thrive Causemetic’s Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara is like no other mascara I’ve used before. It starts off very natural, but is also very build-able without clumping, and it NEVER rubs off during the day. Not to mention when its time to take this mascara off it doesn’t take any scrubbing, I have found that by just using warm water it will come right off and not leave any raccoon eyes.
Night Time Skincare:
I’ve been using this Bliss face wash for as long as I can remember now, and absolutely love it at night for its ability to get all my makeup off on the first try, but also being gentle. Unfortunately this product has been reformulated and I have yet to try the new formula so I can’t say anything about it.
Following washing my face I like to use a face oil. I have now purchased multiple bottles of this Advanced Clincals Coconut Oil which I love because it helps a lot with acne scaring, and is also very moisturizing.
