MOTIVATIONAL BOOKS FOR 2019

For years now every time I hear an influencer I love talk about books that have made a big impact on their life, I have jotted it down somewhere. It wasn’t until recently that I realized that I had all these lists of empowering books that I wanted to read, but always forgot about when I was going to find a new book to read.

As we have made it to the new year, I figured what better time to start reading these books. I have gone back and looked at all the books that stood out to me, did a little research on them, and am now compiling a list for us to start of 2019 right!

Big Magic: This books focuses a lot on embracing curiosity, and letting go of unnecessary fear. I’ve heard that this is a great book for inspiring creativity, which is something I really want to bring into my life more in 2019.

The Four Agreements: This book is about four agreements to make with yourself to look at life in a new way and experience things in a whole new light.

The Power of Now: The message in this book is that the best path to happiness and enlightenment is living in the now. In todays digital world I think that it is so easy to get caught up in everything else that this book likely contains a message that all of us could use.

Girl Boss: I actually originally watched the TV show Girl Boss and loved it and the story, and would love to get more of the creative insight that I think and hope this books contains.

Girl Wash Your Face: I feel like lately I hear about this book on a nearly daily basis. It is always a good sign when a book is written by a girl boss herself, and I’ll listen with open ears to anyone to anyone who wants to tell me about crushing goals.

May Cause Miracles: I really like this book is all about simple consistent shifts that can be made in your life to look at things in a more positive outlook and be overall happier. This seems like a book that would be really incredible to journal about during the process and see how your mindset shifts overtime.

The Game of Life and How to Play It: I think its really interesting that this book was originally published in 1925 and is still so true to life nearly 100 years later.

Adventures For Your Soul: Seeing as this year one of my goals is to be more fearless when it comes to accomplishing goals and putting myself out there this book seems like a really great source of inspiration.

Becoming: From the time that I found out that Michelle Obama was releasing a book I new I had to get my hands on it. From everything I have heard about it so far, it not only contains amazing stories, but amazing messages as well.

Be sure to let me know what books you are hoping to read this year! XO
