Hey hey!! As we are about to head into week 11 (WOW!) of quarantine and I thought it might be fun to share a little sneak peak with you on how I’m spending my days. Somehow, despite being stuck inside my days seem to go by so fast & I feel like I don’t have time to get everything done that I need to. Anyone else feeling the same way right now?!


I’ve been starting my days off on the earlier side (to some, this is pretty standard for me) around 7am. After waking up I usually go straight to my phone to check emails & instagram. I know that a lot of people recommend not picking up your phone first thing in the morning for productivity sake, however I have a set amount of time that I will be on it before moving to the rest of my morning.

I’ve been trying to take time first thing in the morning to get my workout in. This morning I went for a little run and then came home and did some core workouts. Let me know what your favourite free workout videos are, I’d love to try them!

Breakfast: this actually isn’t a typical breakfast for me, I’m usually an eggs gal, but today I had cheerios, my mums granola and some blueberries!

Following breakfast I got on my computer and started getting some work done, I’m currently taking summer classes so this involved doing homework, filling out scholarship applications, and job applications – we’ve been busy over here.


For lunch today I made a quick and yummy little pasta dish, I was seriously craving comfort food!!

If you saw my insta stories, you would have seen the recipe on there but incase you missed it I used:

  • Trader Joes GF quinoa pasta
  • Frozen veggie blend
  • Primal Kitchen dairy free Alfredo sauce
  • shredded parmesan

After lunch I was wiped, so I took a bit of time to lay down & watched a bit of Sweet Magnolias on Netflix. I thought this was such a cute show and binged it SO fast!


As I mentioned earlier I’m taking a couple summer classes right now, I have these Monday, Tuesday & Thursday evenings, so tonight I sat down at my computer from 5-7:30 pm and took my class.

For dinner tonight we had chicken burgers (SO YUM!) & then, of course, indulged on some cookies I made the night before I used my Gluten-Free Almond Oatmeal Cookie Recipe again, it is my new favourite. I have found that they are even more delicious when frozen!

Following dinner my Mumma and I went for a quick walk through the neighbourhood and then I finished up watching Sweet Magnolias. I don’t know about you but sweet/sappy shows like this are my favourite!! If you have any TV show recommendations for me be sure to let me know because I’m in need of something new!
