Hey Friends, welcome back!
If you have been following along over on instagram lately you would know that I have been doing A LOT of reading lately. It was time for me to pick up some new books so I thought it might be fun to share with you what I picked up.
The Second Home – Christina Clancy: This was a recommendation by Katy Bellotte & I always love her book recommendations so I’m excited about this one.
The Age of Light – Whitney Scharer: I’ve been really loving historical fiction lately, particularly those that take place in Paris so as soon as I saw the cover of this one I new I had to pick it up.
Invested – Danielle Town with Phil Town: For those of you that didn’t know I’m majoring in economics, and a lot of my classes talk a lot about stocks and bonds so I’ve become increasingly interested in investment and have heard great things about this book!
The Book of Summer – Michelle Gable: Michelle Gable is one of my favourite authors right now. The last book of her’s I read I read in one day so I’m really excited to pick up more of hers!
The Summer I Met Jack – Michelle Gable: Another Michelle Gable find! This is the book I’m currently reading!
The Perfume Collector – Kathleen Tessaro: Quite frankly I picked this book up because I thought the cover was really pretty. It is another historical fiction book and I love that it tells the story through multiple timelines. I personally love books that tell multiple intertwining stories.
The Great Gatsby – F. Scott Fitzgerald: I try to include one classic in every few books I’m reading, and after recently listening to an episode of the Thick & Thin podcast which made references to the Great Gatsby I decided I wanted this to be the next classic that I read.

I wish I could understand stocks lol, it makes my eyes cross! I’m currently reading through my NetGalley TBR, and honestly… not sure which one I’m even reading right now lmao. But I really want to get to The Iron Raven by Julie Kagawa! And I just finished Tunnel of Bones by VIctoria Schwab. I’ve been on a bit of a historical fiction kick lately lol

Right now I’m reading Stalking Jack The Ripper, which is a bit gruesome actually! I just finished the prequel to the Hunger Games which was super disappointing. Can’t wait to hear what you think of The Great Gatsby!
